It is a real pleasure and privilege to be hosting The Lee Ryder Band, Lee Ryder’s Blues Deluxe this Friday 21st April at St Harmonica’s blues Club. Described by Blues Magazine USA ‘As Blues bands go it doesn’t get much better’ this band is fronted by Lee Ryder who has worked alongside some of the best in the business including members of Whitesnake, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Peter Green, Mick Taylor, Stevie Marriott to name just a few. Lee has a reputation for o nly using the finest musicians in his band and brings with him a formidable line up with Vince Lewis on bass and Roger Brewer (Marillion) drumming. Chris Parren (The Strawbs) plays keys with Matt Backer (ABC & Julian Lennon) on guitar. Expect classic blues, both rocking and soulful, from the vocals and guitar of Lee Ryder and this superb band.
Support comes from Graham Hine, superb slide guitar and vocals from the guitarist who gave the legendary Brett Marvin & The Thunderbolts their unique sound.
