THe first of the Broomfield Blues series starts this Sunday with two wonderful bands to entertain you with some
Classic Blues in the form of The Alan Glen & Manny Fizzotti Blues Band and Doc K’s Blues Band.
The afternoon kicks off at 1.30pm with an hour of the open mic sessions and this
Sunday sees serious talent in the form of The Reprobates (Steve Vincent & John Jay);
Simon Hindley (possibly with Little Paul) and Rick Hayter.
The second in the August series of Broomfield Blues. This Sunday the theme is St Harmonica’s Blues with 2
wonderful bands from the club. House Red are the House Band from St Harmonica’s and they play an
eclectic blend of Blues with far more than three chords all led by Chrissie Thomas with a voice that
has been compared with Ottilie Patterson. John Crowther provides Guitars, Simon Bennett Keyboards
while Dave Thomas on bass and Les Cole on drums set the groove. House Red play from 2.30pm and
are followed by the most popular band we ever put on at St Harmonica’s, The Blues Chapter
featuring the guitar of Jesse Thomas and the vocals, guitar and harmonica of Sky Wood.
Hot shot blues with some crowd pleasers thrown in for this Sunday.

Ed Jones and The Haunting AD.
The third in the August series of Broomfield Blues. This Sunday the theme is Blues with a Smile with 2 wonderful bands
to entertain you. The Customtones kick things off, they are one of the tightest bands ound led by the
'Sultan of Slide’, Martin Fieber, possibly the UK’s best kept slide secret. The Customtones will be followed
by keyboard maestro Steve Taylor’s all star, international Blues Brothers tribute band 'The Booze Brothers'
to really put a smile on your face. The weather is always glorious when the Customtones visit Broomfield Park
and we’re expecting the same again this year.

The
fourth and final afternoon in the August series of Broomfield Blues. This Sunday the theme is New York Blues
and we’re delighted to bring you 2 wonderful bands from New York to entertain you. The Right Reverend Swifty LeZarre
is one of St Harmonica’s Blues Club’s favourite sons. Originally from New York City, Swifty is now based in the UK.
This time he brings his band ’The Smokers’ and will be plugging in to entertain you in his own unique and irreverent way.
Following the Reverend we’re lucky to have been able to book The Hitman Blues Band on their August and September tour of the UK.
This really should not be missed, a chance to see a New York Band at the top of their game for free in Broomfield Park.
With an eight piece lineup including horns, the Hitman delivers original modern blues with great playing and meaningful
lyrics and he’ll be performing material from his chart topping new album.
