It has been a while since Chris Corcoran brought his band to play at St Harmonica’s Blues Club
so we’re looking forward to this Friday, June 30th. In fact we were back at the old venue when
he last performed for us.
With two UK Blues Awards finals places under his belt, Chris Corcoran is considered one of
Britain’s finest blues guitarists; he is also one of the only fully instrumental British blues acts.
The performances with his trio and with his six-piece band, which has been formed by several decades of
experience in blues clubs in the UK, are both thrilling and fascinating. He has featured in several
Guitar magazines and regularly gives masterclasses. In addition, his last three albums Blues Guitar Grooves (2017),
Coolerator (2020) and Inferno (2021) were all awarded ‘Best Instrumental Album’ by the influential US website
Blues Junction Productions. Chris performs regularly in clubs and festivals in Europe and his band headlined
a 'Sold Out' show for the 2023 January Blues Festival at London's famous 100 Club”.

Support comes in the talented and entertaining form of the guitar and vocals of Simon Hindley alongside the harmonica skills of Little Paul.
