The Blues Chapter

t’s always a busy night when The Blues Chapter play at St Harmonica’s Blues Club and we’re sure this Friday will be no different. Often referred to as 'St Harmonica’s favourite sons', for their playing, their material, their coolness and their good looks (their words) the Blues Chapter are at full strength as drummer, Niol Sweeney, is making the journey up from Bristol to take his place on the drum throne. Lindsay Fraser-Craig is on bass and Jacob `Professor Redhair` Thomas plays keyboards providing the perfect rhythm section for the guitar work of Jesse Thomas and the vocals, guitar, harmonica and presence of Sky Wood. The Blues Chapter have their own, unique exciting sound and self-penned material as evidenced on their album, TBC, but they also perform unerringly good covers of SRV, Joe Bonamassa, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Albert Collins and Gary Moore amongst others. You’re in for a treat and if you’ve never seen them before expect an extra special treat.

The support is also from Bristol in the form of Potts Music, Luke Potter, hot off the festival circuit where his one man and a guitar solo set has had crowds in raptures across the UK. A lovely player and with one of the finest voices in the business. Don’t miss him.
