The Blues Chapter

It’s always a delight to host the Blues Chapter at St Harmonica’s. Their infectious energy, musicality and the simple fact that they entertain and enjoy what they do, always guarantees a great evening. So it will be a busy night and good to arrive early if you want a seat to see this band, although they’ll probably have you up and moving anyway. Niol Sweeney, who has been described as the second best drummer in Bristol makes the trip up the M4 to take his place behind the drum kit and, along with Lindsay Fraser Craig on his bass guitar play the driving rhythms that make the Blues Chapter stand out from the rest. Jacob "Professor Redhair" Thomas is on keyboards with Jesse Thomas on lead guitar. The incomparable Sky Wood fronts the band providing vocals, acoustic guitar and harmonica, along with banter and wit. Also, the Chapter promises some material you won’t have heard them play before. Don’t miss them!

And don’t miss the support either. Starting at 8.30pm Luke Potter, aka 'Potts Music', performs some of his original and bluesy material from his acclaimed festival set. He too, along with Niol, is making the journey from Bristol to entertain us on Friday.

Potts will play at 8.30pm followed by two sets from The Blues Chapterr starting just after 9.00pm. See you there.
