Support from Hardcore and Rubble

Friday April 25th

8.00 - 11.30

It’s always an absolute pleasure to welcome a band to St Harmonica’s for the first time and that’s the case this Friday when the Southern Slamdoor Band make their way up from Brighton on the back of very strong recommendations to entertain us this Friday. Since their creation in 2022 by four seasoned musicians, including exceptional guitarist Louise Maggs (a piece about her is about to feature in ‘Blues in Britain’ magazine), this band has earned a reputation as one of Brighton’s leading Blues bands stunning crowds at the annual Broadstairs Blues Bash over the last two years. Expect good times, up tempo rhythm & blues, boogie and boogaloo from this band. Examples of their playing and more info can be found on https://slamdoorband.com

And it is the first time for the support duo as well. Paul Hilder and Gary Jones are no strangers to the club having performed many times but never together as a duo. Paul Hilder’s vocals and guitar joined by the extremely tasteful harmonica playing of Gary Jones bring you Hardcore & Rubble, not to be missed.

Hardcore & Rubble will play at 8.30 followed by two sets from the Southern Slamdoor Band starting at around 9.00pm.
