Two of the biggest names in UK Blues perform at the club this Friday, 25th July when Paul Lamb teams up with Big Joe Louis accompanied by the bass playing of Orlando Shearer.
Paul Lamb, is no stranger to St Harmonica’s having played for us with the KIngsnakes as well as his acoustic duo alongside Chad Strentz. He is one of the foremost harmonica players in the world, one of the greatest players of our time, and an absolute legend of the blues who has won countless awards. Teaming up with Big Joe Louis is a relatively new project and one that produces some of the finest blues that you will hear anywhere. Big Joe Louis is another UK and European Blues legend who has had residencies at just about every venue you can name including the London Blues Festival with Jools Holland. With his Rhythm Kings described by Juke Blues as ‘One of the best British blues bands ever’ Big Joe Louis is a bluesman that anyone who is a fan of the blues should be able to say they have seen. http://www.bigjoelouis.com

Local roots and jug band Hopperstomp will kick off the evening at 8.30pm with a set of around 45 minutes followed by two sets of around 45 minutes from Paul Lamb, Big Joe Louis and Orlando Shearer.
