Support from The Right Reverend Swifty LeZarre

Friday May 30th
8.00 - 11.30

It is always exciting when The Customtones make their way to Southgate to entertain us at St Harmonica’s Blues Club.

One of the tightest outfits around with Mick Parker, drums, and Terry Duggan, bass, providing the most solid of foundations for the keys of ‘Professor’ Steve Taylor and the totally original slide guitar and vocals of Martin Fieber. Martin is not known as the 'Sultan of Slide’ for nothing. He makes all his own guitars under the Customtone label and gets an absolutely unique and original sound from all of them recreating the authentic ’twang’ sound of the late 1950s and early 1960s complete with humorous and self deprecating lyrics from his self-penned songs.

After a performance at Livestock a few years ago one veteran member of the audience was overheard saying “That was the best blues band I’ve ever seen in my life”. You may well agree, come along on Friday to find out.

Time to testify too as the support comes from none other than The Right Reverend Swifty LeZarre, another original who brings a great sense of humour and style along with his fine musicianship.

The Right Reverend Swifty LeZarre will play at 8.30pm followed by two sets from The Customtones starting at around 9.00pm.
